外在美VS.內在美

金不換

        二○一○年六月，鳳凰花開，台大校長在畢業典禮說：「台大女生（五姬十三妹）從事show girl，很可惜！」引發不同論述，師長們偏向認同，年輕一代多半說OK啊。女生若無台大光環可頂著，又無model條件，就只能顧影自憐嗎？還好，馬克吐溫說：「女人四十歲以前不美，可以怪上帝；四十歲以後，還是不美，要怪自己。」所以，四十歲是個臨界點，重新出發以後，比的是內在美，例如談吐、氣質、才德、自信、學識、智慧等。下列相關的中英名言，不一定中聽，但很中用。

 外在美擄獲人的注意力，個性美擄獲人的心。

 美是女人的智慧，智慧是男人的美。

        聖經箴言十一章廿二節說：「婦女美貌而無見識，如同金環帶在豬鼻上。」（Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful face on an empty head. ~The Message Bible）換句話說：「金錢買得到金飾，買不到見識。」這話應該是男女適用。
